Explanation of the Theme

自古以來,華服藝術(shù)是款式、色彩、面料、圖案四者之美的載體。其中,以色彩對人的視覺最為引人注目。

Since ancient times, the art of Chinese garment is the carrier of the beauty of style, color, fabric and pattern. Among them, the visual effect produced by color is the most striking.

《尚書》中記載:“以五彩彰施于五色,作服,汝名”。早期的華夏民族以五種染色服飾為主旨,將其定為國之正色。于是,色彩成為了一種教育方式——它具有了導(dǎo)民向義、化育人心、滋養(yǎng)生命的獨(dú)特魅力。并且,這個跨度已逾三千多年的色彩智慧,已遍布于中國文化中的建筑、醫(yī)藥、文化、宗教、繪畫、軍事、藝術(shù)等多元領(lǐng)域,至今仍灼灼生輝亦發(fā)揚(yáng)于海內(nèi)外。

It is recorded in The Book of History that ancient Chinese people used to make five kinds of clothes with five colors to show the hierarchy. In the early days, Chinese people took the five colors as the main colors when dyeing clothes. They also identified these five colors as the national colors. Therefore, color has become a way of education, which has the unique charm of conveying spiritual power, building moral quality and enriching life connotation. Moreover, this wisdom of color, which has a history of more than 3,000 years, has been applied in various fields of Chinese culture, including architecture, medicine, culture, religion, painting, military, art, etc., and is still shining today, both at home and abroad.

早在三千多年前,中華民族的先人們在沒有化工顏料的條件下,便從自然中取用礦物和植物顏料,從赤、青、黃、白、黑這五種基本色出發(fā),調(diào)制出了許多充滿想象力的間色,并將之運(yùn)用于紡織、木作、制陶、繪畫等領(lǐng)域,極大豐富了藝術(shù)與生活之美,展現(xiàn)了中華民族熱愛自然、與物相融的審美情趣和踐行“道法自然”的東方智慧。

As early as more than 3,000 years ago, Chinese ancestors, without chemical pigments, used mineral and vegetable pigments from nature. Many imaginative colors were created on the base of the five basic colors of red, cyan, yellow, white and black, and were and applied in textile, wood work, pottery making and painting, which greatly enriched the beauty of art and life. It shows the Chinese nation’s aesthetic taste of loving nature and maintaining harmony between man and nature, as well as the Chinese wisdom of“following nature’s course”.

為了裨益后人,明代科學(xué)家宋應(yīng)星在其初刊于1637年的《天工開物》中,對26種植物染色做了詳盡解析,將中國古人對顏色的認(rèn)知和運(yùn)用,訴諸筆端,傳之后世。

In order to benefit future generations, Song Yingxing, a scientist in the Ming Dynasty, made a detailed analysis of the dyeing of 26 plants in his book Tiangong Kaiwu, published in 1637, which handed down the knowledge and application of color of the Chinese ancients to future generations.

如今,2023年第三屆中國國際華服設(shè)計(jì)大賽將于金秋9月舉辦決賽及頒獎,作為華服之美的色彩智慧,是本次大賽的核心主題。透過本次大賽,在突出華服時尚、色彩智慧,展現(xiàn)色彩文化之哲理、配色之法度、色彩之美學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)上,創(chuàng)意出盈心佑人的時尚華服色彩體系。

Now, The Third China International Garment Design Competition2023 will be held in autumn in September, and the wisdom of color is the core of this competition as it displays the beauty of Chinese garment. Through this competition, on the basis of highlighting fashion, color wisdom, showing the philosophy of color culture, color scheme and color aesthetics, a profound and powerful fashion Chinese garment color system will be created.

參賽對象

Contestant Qualifications

本次大賽免收報(bào)名費(fèi),面向海內(nèi)外服裝設(shè)計(jì)師、海外華僑設(shè)計(jì)師、國內(nèi)外高校相關(guān)專業(yè)師生以及懷揣設(shè)計(jì)夢想的達(dá)人(國別、地區(qū)、性別、年齡不限)征集作品。

The competition is free of application fee and is open to fashion designers from home and abroad, related majors’ teachers and students from colleges and universities across the globe, as well as talented KOLs with design dreams (regardless of nationality, region, gender and age).

作品要求

Work Requirements

1.符合大賽主題的華服時裝設(shè)計(jì)系列作品(每系列4-5套),每人(或每個團(tuán)隊(duì))限報(bào)最多1個系列作品(最多限報(bào)3人),作品應(yīng)具有鮮明的文化特征和時代性,并且風(fēng)格獨(dú)特,制作精細(xì),服飾品配套齊全。

1. A series of Chinese style fashion design works in accordance with the competition theme (4-5 sets per series), every contestant (or every team) could only submit one collection (maximum 3 people); the work shall have distinctive cultural characteristics and contemporary quality, with unique style, fine production, and complete match of accessories.

2.請于線上提交時裝設(shè)計(jì)效果圖(圖稿尺寸比例16:9)、款式圖(如有特殊設(shè)計(jì)出現(xiàn)在背面,則需要背面圖)、主題說明、工藝要求、面料實(shí)物圖片及說明。設(shè)計(jì)圖稿的大小要求:27cm × 48cm。實(shí)物小樣:5cm×5cm。

Please submit fashion design sketch (drawing size 16:9), style sketch (if there is a special design on the back of the garment, the back sketch is required), theme description, process requirements, actual fabric pictures and instructions through online method. Design sketch size requirements: 27cm × 48cm. Physical sample: 5cm×5cm.

3.入圍選手須按時提交系列中至少3套實(shí)物作品;同時提交1-2套數(shù)字虛擬作品。其中數(shù)字虛擬作品要求提供三種源文件格式:虛擬模特不限;圖片格式為JPG;視頻文件格式為MP4;源編輯文件格式OBJ。參賽成衣與虛擬作品制作費(fèi)用由選手承擔(dān),選手將免費(fèi)獲得技術(shù)支持單位提供的正版軟件。

Shortlisted contestants shall submit 3 sets of physical works; and 1-2 sets of digital virtual works on schedule. The digital virtual works shall be submitted in 3 source file formats: picture format JPG; video format MP4; source edit file format OBJ. The contestants shall bear the cost for ready-made and virtual works’ production, and they will receive free copyrighted software provided by the technology support company.

4.入圍決賽的參賽選手將獲得技術(shù)支持單位開展的三維虛擬軟件與技術(shù)免費(fèi)培訓(xùn),并由技術(shù)單位協(xié)助完成數(shù)字虛擬作品。

Shortlisted contestants will receive the 3D virtual software and technique training free of charge by the technology support company, the technology support company will assist the contestants to finish their virtual works.

5、同期舉辦華服短視頻比賽,為華服設(shè)計(jì)從業(yè)者及喜歡拍攝短視頻的專業(yè)和非專業(yè)人士展現(xiàn)才華的機(jī)會,可拍攝與華服、面料、色彩、圖案等非遺有關(guān)的故事及短視頻,短視頻上傳至zggjhfsjds@163.com

5. At the same time, a short video competition will be held on the theme of Chinese garment, providing opportunities for designers of Chinese garment and professionals and non-professionals who like to shoot short videos to show their talents. Participants can shoot stories and short videos related to intangible cultural heritage such as Chinese traditional costumes, fabrics, colors and patterns, and upload the short videos to zggjhfsjds@163.com

6.參賽作品必須是未公開發(fā)表過的個人原創(chuàng)作品(大學(xué)生時裝周及學(xué)校演出作品除外)。參賽作品所產(chǎn)生的任何剽竊、模仿行為及其他法律責(zé)任與大賽組織單位無關(guān),由參賽作品提交人(團(tuán)隊(duì))負(fù)責(zé)承擔(dān)。

Entries must be original and unpublished. (Exclude works participated China Graduate Fashion Week and school shows). Any plagiarism, epigonism and related legal liabilities have no relations with the competition’s organizational units, the submitter (or the submit team) shall bear full responsibility.

7.主辦方有權(quán)宣傳、出版、展示全部參賽作品。

The sponsors reserve the right to publicize, publish and display all entries.

8.獲獎作品由大賽組委會收藏。對入圍決賽作品,組委會將保留對參賽作品表演、刊登、展出等非商業(yè)化的權(quán)利,還將保留參賽作品照片及錄像版權(quán),并有權(quán)以任何形式將有關(guān)照片及錄像帶翻錄使用,無須支付任何版權(quán)費(fèi)用予參賽者。如需商業(yè)化,與參賽者另行簽署合同。

The award-winning works will be collected by the competition organizing committee. For the finalist works, the organizing committee will reserve the right to perform, publish, display and conduct other non-commercial behaviours towards the works, as well as the copyright of the photos and videos of the finalist works, and the right to reproduce the photos and videos in any form without paying any copyright fees to the contestants. If commercialization is required, a separate contract will be signed with the contestants.

9.入圍決賽作品將有機(jī)會進(jìn)入組委會指定或協(xié)作元宇宙虛擬社區(qū)平臺簽約進(jìn)行售賣,在市場產(chǎn)生經(jīng)濟(jì)效益后,將由社會平臺給予作品設(shè)計(jì)師實(shí)際產(chǎn)生經(jīng)濟(jì)價值對應(yīng)的獎勵(以實(shí)際簽約協(xié)議為準(zhǔn))。

The finalist works will have the opportunity to enter the metaverse virtual community platform designated by or cooperate with the organizing committee for sale. After the economic benefit is generated in the market, the social platform will give the designers the reward corresponding to the actual economic value (subject to the actual contract agreement).

10.大賽所有相關(guān)信息的解釋權(quán)歸大賽組委會。

About Judges

國內(nèi)外著名學(xué)者、知名設(shè)計(jì)師、藝術(shù)家、時裝評論家、企業(yè)家、元宇宙專家、媒體人士、成果轉(zhuǎn)化選手代表等組成評委團(tuán)。

Appraisal Committee: Consist of well-known domestic and international scholars, designers, artists, fashion critics, entrepreneurs and former contestant representatives with achievement transformation.

評比辦法

Evaluation Method

1.設(shè)計(jì)稿評選:由評委團(tuán)成員根據(jù)評比標(biāo)準(zhǔn)(市場與商品化40%,中華傳統(tǒng)元素運(yùn)用35%,創(chuàng)意與時尚度25%,);分別評選出30組設(shè)計(jì)作品入圍。如有選手退賽,入圍名額根據(jù)得分排名依次遞補(bǔ)。

Design Sketch Appraisal: the appraisal committee members will select 30 groups of works according to the criteria (market and commercialization 40%, application of traditional Chinese elements 35%, creativity and fashion 25%,) for the final. In case of withdrawal, the number of finalists will be shortlisted according to the score ranking.

2.成衣效果評審:評委基于設(shè)計(jì)圖,對完成成衣作品以及數(shù)字虛擬作品從靜態(tài)實(shí)物(虛擬圖片)展示、模特動態(tài)走秀(數(shù)字走秀)雙層面評出獎項(xiàng)。評比標(biāo)準(zhǔn)為:商品轉(zhuǎn)化度(40%),成衣效果(30%),傳承與創(chuàng)新(30%)。

2.Ready-to-wear result appraisal: based on the design sketches, the judges will award the finished ready-to-wear works and digital virtual works from two levels of static physical objects (virtual pictures) display and dynamic models’ runway (digital runway shows). The appraisal criteria are: product transformation degree (40%), ready-to-wear result (30%), inherit and innovation (30%).

3、短視頻比賽評選:故事情節(jié)完整,有廣泛的傳播性以及廣泛的審美認(rèn)可。3.Short video competition selection: The story is complete, has wide dissemination and wide aesthetic recognition.

特別提示:如因疫情,入圍選手本人不能來決賽現(xiàn)場者,請將參賽實(shí)物作品郵寄至組委會,可在線上參加現(xiàn)場答辯與評審。

Special note: if the finalists are unable to attend the final due to the pandemic, please post the physical works to the organizing committee and participate in the on-site defense and appraisal online.

入圍選手必須攜帶參賽作品于決賽前3天(北京時間)到達(dá)決賽地點(diǎn)(具體地點(diǎn)以入圍通知為準(zhǔn))。入圍選手參加決賽的交通費(fèi)用由組委會憑交通單據(jù)報(bào)銷,如決賽地點(diǎn)在意大利米蘭舉辦時,國內(nèi)參賽以及其他國家選手(歐洲選手除外)最多報(bào)銷一萬元人民幣,歐洲選手最多報(bào)銷三千元人民幣,入圍選手在決賽地參賽期間,由組委會提供免費(fèi)食宿。優(yōu)秀入圍選手將被邀請至米蘭大賽決賽現(xiàn)場。參賽作品自行制作費(fèi)用由選手承擔(dān)。

The shortlisted contestants must bring their entries to the venue of the final 3 days (Beijing time) before the final (the specific location is subject to the notice of shortlisting). The transport expenses of the shortlisted contestants will be reimbursed by the organizing committee on the basis of transport documents. For example, when the final is held in Milan, Italy, the maximum reimbursement for domestic competitors and other countries (excluding European competitors) is RMB 10,000 Yuan, and the maximum reimbursement for European competitors is RMB 3,000 Yuan. Free meals and accommodation will be provided to Shortlisted contestants by the Organizing Committee during the competition. The outstanding shortlisted contestants will be invited to the final of the Milan competition. The expenses for the production of the works by the contestants shall be borne by themselves.

Silver prize: 2 people with 50,000RMB prize money each

4.銅獎3名獎金各20000人民幣

Bronze prize: 3 people with 20,000RMB prize money each

5.最佳元素創(chuàng)新獎、最佳工藝獎、最佳網(wǎng)絡(luò)人氣獎各1名,各獎勵8000人民幣

Best element innovation, best technique and best internet popularity prize: 1 person each with 8,000RMB prize money

6.十佳華服短視頻每人獎勵5000人民幣。

Each author of the ten best fashion short videos will be awarded 5,000 RMB.

7.優(yōu)秀獎若干各獎勵2000人民幣

Several recognition awards, with RMB2,000 prize money each.

以上獎項(xiàng)均由中國服裝設(shè)計(jì)師協(xié)會頒發(fā)證書或獎杯。所有獎金金額均為稅前,組委會保留最終解釋權(quán)。

All the above awards will be issued certificates or trophies by China Fashion Association. All prize money is pre-tax and the organizing committee reserves the right of final explanation.

I have read the appraisal method of The Third  China International Garment Design Competition” in detail, and I am willing to abide by the relevant regulations, and make the following commitments:  

1、本人提交的設(shè)計(jì)作品為原創(chuàng)性設(shè)計(jì),未曾獲得過任何其他設(shè)計(jì)大賽獎項(xiàng),保證對參賽作品擁有充分、完全、排他的知識產(chǎn)權(quán),不侵犯任何他人的任何專利、著作權(quán)、商標(biāo)權(quán)及其他知識產(chǎn)權(quán);

The design works submitted by me are original designs and have not won any other design competition awards. I guarantee that I have full, complete and exclusive intellectual property rights to the entries and do not infringe any patents, copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights of others.  

2、若有知識產(chǎn)權(quán)糾紛或爭議,其法律責(zé)任由本人自行負(fù)責(zé),與“第三屆中國國際華服設(shè)計(jì)大賽”組委會無關(guān); 

If there is any intellectual property controversy or dispute, the legal liability shall be borne by myself, which has nothing to do with The Third  China International Garment Design Competition” Organizing Committee;  

3、本人同意該作品可由“第三屆中國國際華服設(shè)計(jì)大賽”組委會公開出版、展示、展覽、推廣宣傳和在有關(guān)媒體進(jìn)行報(bào)道。(本承諾內(nèi)容不得更改)。
