Health is recognized as the most precious thing in the world. National health is an important symbol of sustainable development ability for any countries. It is also an important topic with high consensus between the international communities.
On October 25 2018, the World Health Organization adopted the Astana Declaration, promising to strengthen primary health care and promote the grand goal of“primary health services for all”. As a non-government, non-profit international organization, Boao Forum for Asia is based in Asia and faces the world. While promoting cooperation in the economic field, it further expands the development and communication of hygiene and health. On the basis of fully consulting opinions from comprehensive parties, it was decided to establish a global health forum, and the first conference will be held in Qingdao, China on June 10-12, 2019. The forum will become a platform where to explore consensus among global health field and to gather the wisdom and resources in medical and population health industries. With the aim to attract attentions on health issues around the world, we will build a world-class platform for thought leadership, focus on the public welfare, inclusiveness and innovation of health development, fully explore the potential of the population health market, actively promote the exchanges and cooperation among the governments, academic and research institutes, and all relevant enterprises. Let’s work together to promote the UN 2030 sustainable development goals.
Forum schedule
The first Global Health Forum 2019 (GHF 2019) of Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) will be held from 10th to 12th, June, 2019 in the International Convention Center, Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition, West Coast New Area, Qingdao, China. The Agenda of the Forum includes the Opening Ceremony, Round Table Dialogues, Sessions, Innovation Project Presentations, and Global Health Expo, etc. During the GHF 2019, diversified dialogues and brainstorming with international peers on the topics of"Universal Health Coverage","Innovation","Health in All Policies" will be addressed.
